About the Event
Welcome to Creative Music Making Summer Camp! Designed for musicians in grades 5-7, Creative Music Making invites campers to meet where music and collaboration collide with Jeanne, experienced orchestra, band, and theatre performer and strings teacher at TKAM!
Each day, campers engage in group collaboration exercises before jumping into music-making. This camp teaches note-identification, rhythm-reading, the basics of composing, plus how to write your own song lyrics! Topped off with some musical concentration games and a daily visit to the park—this week is sure to be a blast.
Camp runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm daily, with before and aftercare available if you should need it!
