🎶 A Brief Note...  🎶

Hi TKAM families, and happy August!

With back to school just around the corner, we imagine everyone's thoughts are on pencils and erasers, nut-free granola bars, juice boxes, running shoes... 🍪 🧃 👟

We get it, it's one of the busiest times of year, rivaled only by Christmas... maybe? So, this won't be a long one. We just want to check in with everyone and share a little of what we have going on at the Kitchener Academy of Music.

August and September always seem to be a time of transition—from second grade to third grade, from middle school to high school—and for a few TKAM teachers, this period marks change, too. We've sadly had to say goodbye to three wonderful teachers, one of whom had been at TKAM for coming up on three years! 😔 Thank you, Shakoor, Kevin, and Steven for your dedication to your students and passion for teaching. We appreciate everything you've shared with us! 🤗 🙏

While we're sad to say goodbye, we've also had the amazing opportunity to say hello: Sofia and Celeste have joined the teacher team, and some of you may have met them already in their first few lessons! 🎉 Sofia expertly teaches piano and guitar, and she still has some availability on Monday afternoons and evenings; Celeste is a practiced and accomplished piano and ukulele teacher with time available on Fridays. As always, just reply to this email for more information or to register! 🎹 🎸 🎶

Speaking of registration, our back to school promo waives the registration fee when you commit to 3 months of lessons! Just one fee for lessons in September, October, and November, save $50, and don't pay again until December. This promo is on until the first day of school, so please let us know if you're interested! 🎒 🚌 🗓️ ✏️ 📓

Finally, thank you all for being such valued members of our TKAM family. We couldn't do this without you! 🧡 🥰

Notably yours,

Kandice, Kyla, vic, Jasmine, Bash, & the teacher team
